Phillip J. Mitchell

Phillip J. Mitchell, Jr. is licensed and actively practices in Florida and Louisiana state courts, as well as the Southern and Middle Districts of the State of Florida in the United States District Courts, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States of America. Mr. Mitchell is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, Miami-Dade Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from Northwestern State University (1995) and his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law (2000).

To date, Mr. Mitchell has tried over thirty cases to conclusion. His extensive trial experience and proven winning record qualifies him as one of South Florida's outstanding young lawyers. Mr. Mitchell is an aggressive trial lawyer who devotes himself to the fight for justice while maintaining the highest ethical standards of professionalism.

Mr. Mitchell is active and generous with his time within the local community. Tanya Higgins

Tanya Higgins has over a decade of experience successfully representing clients charged with serioud misdemeanor and felony offenses in state, federal and appellate courts. Her knowledge and courtroom skills are apparent and she has has maintained a phenomenal track record of success.

She has personally tried many jury trials, including white collar federal offenses involving racketeering, mail fraud, securities fraud, continuing criminal enterprises, and pyramid and ponzi schemes. In addition, Ms. Higgins has handled numerous first degree state felonies, as well as countless bench trials and pre-trial motions.

Florida Defense Attorney David Hill

David Hill

David P. Hill was born in Harpenden, England in 1964, and lived with his family in England, Belgium and Australia, before moving to the United States in 1980. He obtained both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating from law school there in 1990. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, and all state courts of Florida. He has practiced exclusively in criminal defense in the state of Florida, primarily in the Central Florida community, since graduating from law school. He represents clients in a far-ranging array of matters, including felony, misdemeanor and traffic allegations, in both State and Federal courts.

Mr. Hill volunteers his time with the Orange County Teen Court program, where he serves as an advisor to teens that are serving as jurors, as well as with the Adult Literacy League, where he is teaching adults to read. This is a natural follow up to Mr. Hill's year in Kenya (l986 - l987) where he taught English and History to Kenyan school children in the central highlands region of the country.
